His pictures have defined the modern landscape of Muay Thai. His name is Tar Srisantiroj and he has captured Muay Thai moments over, and over, and over for the last seven years.

 Starting at the world renown Thai Fight, the Bangkok photographer learned the ropes and detailed what the future of Muay Thai would look like.

It was when he shifted to Max Muay Thai in 2013 that his career and his style really took hold.

 “I made a portfolio and gave it to the original owners of Max Muay Thai,” Tar said. “I was the first photographer for the show.”

 Since then he has taken countless photos of action displaying all the weapons of Muay Thai and defined the aesthetic for the popular Muay Thai entertainment show.

 “I want to show the strength of the fighters. I want to show the movement, I don’t want it to be just a still photo,” he said.

Max Muay Thai offers ample opportunity for Tar to display his craft. He works his camera twice a week, all year round. His photos are behind the highly rated Champion show along with the international hit Sunday show, Max Ultimate, which pits foreigners versus Thais. The images from these shows have spread like wildfire across social media capturing the attention of Muay Thai fans around the world.

 But Tar isn’t just limited to Muay Thai action photography. He’s worked frequently on both product and fashion shoots for Infightstyle. The man behind the lens has covered a host of Infightstyle material and models including Yothin FA Group, Samuel Bark, Sitjaopho gym, Michael Chase Corley, Bekah Irwin, and more.

“It’s relaxing for me to take fashion shoots. It shows I’m versatile. I can do more than Muay Thai photography. It’s a way for me to release my creative energies,” Tar said.

The fashion shoots find him freestyle and use his creative control to make a difference in the art.

Tar has both depth and range. He has recently expanded his creativity to the canvas of the street as well with his recent work capturing everyday models in everyday landscapes looking extraordinary.

 1. You have to love what you’re doing.
